Founded by Chef Jackie, a professionally trained chef with over 20 years in the hospitality, catering, and restaurant industry, Baked Studios is dedicated to creating engaging, hands-on culinary experiences for every occasion.
Chef Jackie studied savory cooking then later specialized in pastry and baking at the Iowa Culinary Institute and brings a wealth of experience as the Pastry Sous Chef at Oak Park Restaurant. She also owns Little Buns Bakehouse, an artisan pop-up bakehouse specializing in handcrafted breads, pastries, and both sweet and savory baked goods—including artisan pizzas—made with locally sourced, seasonal ingredients.
Jackie’s culinary skills are deeply rooted in artisan techniques, specializing in scratch-made breads, delicate pastries, and creative baked goods. Her expertise extends to crafting both indulgent treats and balanced, macro-friendly, nutrient-dense meals. This unique combination allows Jackie to design versatile classes that cater to diverse tastes.
Beyond pastry and baking, Jackie has served as the Executive Chef for private practice dietitians, blending health and flavor in every dish. Her experience in social services also shapes her teaching style, making her classes inclusive, engaging, and meaningful. From leading corporate team-building workshops to family-friendly classes and community events, Jackie is passionate about sharing her knowledge and inspiring confidence in every kitchen.
